Minority insists Ghana's High Commissioner to South Africa must resign

The Minority in Parliament has again asked the President to sack Ghana's High Commissioner to South Africa George Ayisi Boateng though he has rendered an apology for his unsavory comments. 

Mr. Ayisi Boateng has come under severe criticism after he told NPP Youths in Kumasi that he prioritises the needs of party members over all others.

A statement by MP for North Tongu   and Ranking Member, Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa stated that the content  of the apology is reluctant and insincere. 
 
The Minority further considers that Mr Ayisi Boateng initially treated with contempt the Minority's demand of him to retract and apologize for his remarks. 

The minority maintains that the   conduct of Mr Ayisi Boateng over the last 96 hours has shown him to be unfit and lacking the temperament of a diplomat to occupy the office of High Commissioner. 
 
They are therefore demanding that based on these coonducts Mr Ayisi Boateng should be recalled by the President with immediate effect.
