Political vigilante groups may develop into militia groups if not regulated - Adib Saani A Security Analyst, Adib Saani has attributed the growing activities of political vigilante groups to improper management of expectations. According to him, during the electioneering period, politicians make all kinds of promises to the youth, who anticipate a change in their fortune, and therefore become very expectant. He said failure by the Party to meet the promises once it wins power, gets the youth frustrated and they in turn, take the law into their hands. Mr. Saani, said there is the need to regulate vigilante groups instead of banning them. He noted that there is nothing wrong with the existence of vigilante groups, however, the fear is, when they are not properly regulated, they may develop into militia groups. GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
