Security Analyst attributes rise in political vigilantism to unfulfilled campaign promises A Security Analyst, Adib Saani has attributed the growing activities of political vigilante groups to improper management of expectations. According to him, during campaigns, politicians make all kinds of promises to these youths which make them expect lots of things when their parties win. He said failure by the ruling party to meet the promises leave the youth with no option than to take the law into their hands. Mr. Sani said instead of banning vigilante groups, it is better they are regulated. According to him, there is nothing wrong with vigilante groups but the fear is when they are not properly regulated, they may develop into militia groups. GBCONLINE ---DECRYPTED---
