UPSA students assured of safety despite fuel station near school

The Ghana Standards Authority and the Environmental Protection Agency have assured students and management of the University of Professional Studies, Accra of their safety despite the siting of a fuel station close by. 
 
In the aftermath of the Atomic Junction gas explosion, students of UPSA have been demanding the relocation of the SEL Filling Station. 
 
A team of experts from the Ghana Standards Authority and the Environmental Protection Agency have inspected the facility to assess its safety standards. 

The inspection was carried out in the presence of student leadership and management of the university with a heavy police presence.
