Rights group, opposition slam crackdown on Harare traders
 
A Leading Zimbabwean Rights Group and the main opposition MDC party have slammed a police operation to evict street traders from central Harare.

Anti-riot police have been moving in their hundreds and in trucks evicting vendors and destroying their properties.

It said the eviction will destroy the livelihood of the vulnerable and the poor.
