NOT INTERESTED, DROP CASE AGAINST APPIAH STADIUM – PRESIDENT 


The President, Nana Akufo-Addo has asked the Police to drop the case against a serial caller aligned to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) who is alleged to have spread falsehood about him. He says he is not interested in pursuing the matter.


Frank Kwaku Appiah popularly called Appiah Stadium was arrested by the Police in Kumasi and was transferred to Accra to be interrogated. However, a statement signed by the Minister of Information Mustapha Abdul-Hamid said “Appiah Stadium is merely reciting from an old NDC propaganda book…” since a similar issue had been ruled on by the National Media Commission in 2015.
