Tense moments as Ghana-Ivory Coast maritime boundary dispute judgement set for September 23

The International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea is expected to deliver judgement in the Maritime boundary dispute between Ghana and Cote d'Ivoire on Saturday. 

The former Chief Executive of the Ghana Shippers Authority and Outgoing Chairman of the Legal Council for the International Maritime Organisation, Dr. Kofi Mbiah said the outcome of this case will have economic implications for both countries, since the area under dispute has rich mineral deposits.
