GES says all prospective SHS students will be placed by September ending

The PRO of the Ghana Education Service, Reverend Jonathan Bettey has assured parents and other stakeholders in the sector that all prospective SHS students will be placed by the end of this month.  

Speaking to Radio Ghana, he indicated that the challenges being experienced are nothing new with respect to the implementation of any policy. 

Reverend Bettey said technicians are working around the clock to resolve all issues surrounding the posting.

GBC’s Radio Ghana checks at the free SHS Secretariat witnessed scores of parents with their wards. 

Most of them were in groups discussing their plight and were reluctant to speak to our reporter.  

Meanwhile, it is not clear if the meeting between the GES Council and the GNAT leadership will come off Monday as planned.
