Free SHS: Private Schools call for dialogue between Government, Education Ministry

The Executive Secretary of the Coalition of Private Schools, Dr. Simon Gbene, has called for dialogue between the Ministry of Education, and Private Schools to partner government to implement the Free SHS policy. 

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Dr Gbene said private schools have the capacity to train SHS candidates who were not placed and who must not be denied access to education because they are also Ghanaians. 

He appealed to President Akufo-Addo to intervene because the three hundred private schools are partners and must not be left to collapse.
