Stop interfering investigations of "corrupt" public officials -Politicians Cautioned A representative of the Auditor General, Vincent Odikuro Nyame has advised politicians not to interfere in the investigation of public officials who commit financial irregularities. At a stakeholders forum on the Special Prosecutor Bill 2017, Mr. Nyame noted that political interference tends to defeat the work of the Public Accounts Committee. Mr. Nyame said the proposal to have a representative of the Auditor General to be on the governing board of the special prosecutor's office will be welcome if it is established that there won't be a conflict of interest.
