One-district-One-factory: ‘Ekumfi Factory could translate into votes for NPP’

Governance Expert, Professor Emmanuel Asiamah says the success of the pineapple factory at Ekumfi in the Central Region as part of the One-District, One Factory Policy could change the fortunes of the NPP in the area. 

He explained that the people of Ekumfi will be highly elated at the initiative thereby translating into massive votes for the NPP in the 2020 general election. 

Professor Asiamah added that the factory will offer jobs to the people and they will be forever grateful for the opportunity. 

Meanwhile, the National Coordinator of the One District, One Factory Policy, Gifty Ohene Konadu has indicated that President Akufo-Addo will on Friday officially cut sod to begin the first factory of the one District One  Factory Policy at Nanabin in Ekumfi in the Central Region. 

She urged the District to be ready and accept the factory. 

Mrs Konadu noted fifty one factories will kick start this year under the policy.
