McDan juniors’ tennis Championship underway at the Accra Sports Stadium                        



The 2017 McDan Juniors Tennis Open has begun at the Accra Sports Stadium with many young athletes vying for laurels. The juveniles Championship is expected to run from August 21 through to August 26, 2017. The championship is being held for the first time in ten (10) years.
The tournament was launched at the courts last Wednesday.



The championship is divided into categories for boys and girls in U12, U14 and U16.



The Accra Open Champion Richard Okai defeated William Yoofi Grant in a titanic encounter to progress to the next stage of the competition.


This year’s McDan Juniors Tennis Open is sponsored by McDan Group of companies with support from, AfWest Security, Trillium Ghana Ltd and Nationwide Mutual Health Insurance and Automedics.                        



The girls take their turn today after yesterday’s all-boys affair.
