South African borders on 'red alert' to stop Grace Mugabe from fleeing

South African police have issued a “red alert” on the country’s border to prevent Zimbabwe's first lady from fleeing. 

Grace Mugabe, 52, is accused of assaulting a female model in a Johannesburg hotel with an electric cable.

She has asked for diplomatic immunity in the case and has not yet been charged. 

Her whereabouts are not known but Fikile Mbalula, South Africa's police minister, said she is in the country.
