Audit Service To Sanction Institutions Which Delay In Responding To Its Queries The Auditor General, Daniel Domelevo says the Audit service will start penalizing institutions which delay in responding to audit queries. Speaking exclusively to Radio Ghana, he said many entities fail to provide answers to infractions the service uncovers soon after an audit but are quick to provide such information only when they are due to appear before the Public Accounts Committee. He said such a practice is wrong and must stop. Mr. Domelevo who spoke with Radio Ghana's Antionette Abbah, also said, contrary to public perception that reports of the Auditor General and by extension the work of the PAC is a talk shop, it keeps yielding the desired results. He said most of the infractions don't bother on criminal conduct that is why very few arrests are made. Listen to attached audio for the full interview. GBC
