First batch of 2017 Hajj Pilgrims to be airlifted today The first batch of five hundred and ten pilgrims will be airlifted from Tamale to Jedah in Saudi Arabia Thursday. The number is part of three thousand pilgrims who are expected to fly through the Tamale Airport for this year's hajj. At a durbar to officially bid the pilgrims farewell, Vice President Dr Mahmudu Bawumia extolled the Hajj board for the level of organization so far but added that, until the last pilgrim leaves, they should keep up the good work.
