Fulani Herdsmen 'Allies, Not Enemies' – Minister

The Minister of Food and Agriculture, Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto has expressed optimism that fulani herdsmen can contribute to the development of agriculture in the country.
 
Speaking at the inauguration of a 16-member Committee of the Ghana Cattle Ranchers Project, Dr Afriyie Akoto said the fulani herdsmen should be seen as allies, rather than enemies.
 
He said positives could be drawn from the presence of these herdsmen who he described as the best livestock keepers in the country.
