Government to revamp public transport to compete with private sector

The Minister of Transport, Mr. Kwaku Ofori Asiamah, has assured staff of the State Transport Company, STC, that the company's Board of Directors will soon be set up to help streamline operations of the transport company. 

The Minister was responding to requests by the Kumasi local Union for a re-composition of the STC Board to complement the work of the newly appointed Managing Director to revive the once vibrant state transport company.
