NSS apologises to service personnel over military assault

The management of the National Service Scheme has apologised to National Service Personnel who were manhandled by police and military personnel during the registration exercise. 

A statement signed by the Acting Director of the NSS, Ussif Mustapha said the incident was regrettable and will never happen again.

The statement said management has put in place measures to ease the congestion and appealed to all Service Personnel to remain calm and go through the registration process smoothly.
