Government commiserates with victims of Tamale floods

Government has expressed its condolences to families of the two people who lost their lives to floods that engulfed parts of the Northern Region Tuesday.

A statement signed by the Minister of Information, Mustapha Abdul-Hamid said the President has deployed a high powered delegation to the affected areas to assess the situation for immediate remedial action.
 
The statement said the delegation will visit the bereaved families as well as displaced persons.

It assures affected persons that government will do all it can to alleviate their plight.
