Gov't Commiserates Family Of Late Constable Daniel Owusu Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, consoled the family of late Constable Daniel Owusu. Constable Daniel Owusu was shot and killed by some criminals at Lapaz, a suburb of Accra on Thursday July 13 whilst on patrol duties. Vice president Dr. Bawumia, together with the Minister of Interior, Ambrose Dery and the Inspector General of Police, (IGP) David Asante-Apeatu visited the family at their Tesano residence. The Vice President sent warm greetings from the President to the family and assured them of government support. Also accompanying the team were the Director-General in charge Police Officers’ Welfare, COP. Prosper Agblor, ACP. Owusu Boateng, Deputy Accra Regional Commander, ACP.
