Fire Service begins investigations into Kasoa Old Market Fire The Head of Public Relations of the Ghana National Fire Service, Billy Anaglatey says investigations have begun to determine the cause of fire and the extent of damage at the Kasoa old market Sunday. Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr. Anaglatey noted that preliminary investigations indicate that the shop owners did not adhere to fire safety measures. He added that the Fire Service will deepen its educational campaign in order to forestall such occurrences. Mr Anaglatey also indicated that the Service is still embarking on its unannounced visits to assess fire safety measures in various institutions. This he stressed is part of efforts to ensure that institutions obey the law or face sanctions. GBCONLINE
