NPA to launch National Safety Campaign in July

The National Petroleum Authority, NPA, will next month launch a National Safety Campaign to create public awareness on safety in handling petroleum products particularly gas. 

As a prelude to the launch, the NPA has held a sensitization forum for journalists in Kumasi to solicit their support for a successful implementation of the campaign. 

The Chief Executive Officer of NPA, Hassan Tampuli, said the initiative has become necessary as a result of the spate of gas explosions across the country.
