Media Foundation for West Africa calls for speedy passage of RTI Bill

Media Foundation for West Africa is calling on government to expedite action on the passage of the Right To Information bill without further delay. 

The Foundation said the delay in the passage of the bill is denying Ghanaians access to information that will enable them hold duty bearers accountable.
  
A Board Member of the Foundation, Professor Kwame Karikari said this at the launch of a project dubbed “Promoting Citizens’ Participation in Local Governance through Increased Access to Information," at Wa in the Upper West Region.
