Motorists on Kasoa - Accra stretch complain of Police high-handedness Drivers both commercial and private were Monday, 17th July 2017 morning stopped by heavily armed police Officers at Tuba an area on the Kasoa- Accra stretch, in what was claimed as a national exercise. Some of the drivers who spoke to Radio Ghana said they had their car keys taken away from them and have been ordered to come to Police headquarters. According to them, for more than three hours they tried to get an explanation from the Police Officers but failed to do so. Meanwhile, the Director General, Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service, ACP David Eklu says the heavily armed Police Officers deployed on the Kasoa - Accra road is part of a routine exercise to check crime. Speaking to Radio Ghana, ACP Eklu said the unfortunate incident at Lapaz was part of the exercise on the Kasoa road. He urged motorists to bear with the Police on the exercise. GBCONLINE
