Famous Ugandan  musician  becomes MP

One of Uganda's top Afrobeat musicians, Robert Kyagulanyi, better known as Bobi Wine, has been sworn in as a member of parliament. 

Reports say he was sworn in by the Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga, at the parliament in the capital, Kampala, following his victory in a by-election last month. 

Since he is an independent MP, Mr Kyagulanyi was asked to choose which side of the house he preferred to sit and he picked the opposition side.
