The Ghanaian Times commends former students of the All Nation University in Koforidua for launching a satellite into space. It says the invention of Ghansat-1  by former students of the University has put Ghana on the international map. The paper applauds the historic achievements of the three engineers saying the launch of the satellite will be of great benefit to Ghana as it will help obtain data on happenings on the coastal areas and its environment and also take pictures of the entire country instantly. The Times urges government and all stakeholders to support the effort of the students and the school to develop more satellites.

The Daily Heritage says it is regrettable that eight months after the inauguration of the 74 million pound circle interchange, the streets have developed gaping potholes.  The interchange was inaugurated last year by former President John Dramani Mahama. The paper observes that at the time of the inauguration of the interchange people criticised it saying that it was uncompleted and  it was being done for political convenience. A few months down the line people are raising concerns about flooding in the area each time it rains. This is because the major drains were sealed during the construction of the interchange.  According to the paper portions of the interchange have caved in causing massive gridlock in the area. It urges the contractors to evaluate the entire project and put it in good shape to avert a disaster.
