SWITCH Africa Green Project meeting underway in Accra

Representatives from six African countries forming the SWITCH Africa Green Project are meeting in Accra to network in order to promote sustainable consumption and production practices.

The project which started three years ago is scaling up and replicating green businesses using the private sector. 

The Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Prof. Kwabena Frimpong Boateng encouraged industries to embrace green production practices since the government has reduced taxes for such companies.
