Akweteman, Achimota Water Crisis: Official blames erratic power supply

The Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Water Company (GWCL), Stanley Martey has attributed the acute water shortage at Akweteman, Achimota and its environs to erratic power supply from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG). 

Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana, Mr. Martey said, the GWCL does not have any problem with its equipment therefore, until ECG is able to provide constant of power, it will be difficult to supply water to the residents of Akweteman, Achimota and its environs.
