Gov't will live up to its promises - President Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo says the 2.4 billion dollar energy sector debt is stifling government's efforts at dealing with the challenges in the sector.  

President Akufo Addo stated this when he met the Ghanaian Community in Geneva, Switzerland. 

He said his government will live up to its promises.

The CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Center, GIPC Yoofi Grant, said government wants to make Ghana the best place to invest by reducing the time of registering businesses to just 24 hours.

The President of the Ghanaian Community in Geneva, Kofi Amekudzi, was grateful to the President for the visit. 

He said there are many Ghanaians with potentials that can be harnessed to develop the country.

He also spoke about the difficulty in the acquisition of biometric passport.
