Information Minister visits GBC

The Minister of Information, Mustapha Hamid, has paid a working visit to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, GBC to familiarize himself with the activities of the corporation. 

In a brief meeting with management, Mr Hamid reaffirmed his commitment to making GBC a true public service broadcaster. 

He said in a democratic state such as Ghana, there is the need to make the media truly independent.
