Engage in stakeholder consultations before implementing free SHS policy - Coalition

A network of Civil Society Organisations, Professional Groupings, Educational Institutions and other practitioners interested in promoting quality basic education has called on government to engage in stakeholder consultations before implementing the free SHS policy. 

The Coalition says it is important for the government to engage parents, private institutions, old students associations and other players in the education sector in discussions on the policy. 

At a news conference in Accra, the Executive Chairman of Ghana National Education Campaign Coalition, Bright Appiah praised the government's policy on education as presented by the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori Atta.
