Ghana Water takes steps to address acute water shortage 

The Brong Ahafo Regional Production Manager of the Ghana Water Company Limited, Hadisu Alhassan, has described water supply in the Region as acute and dire. 

He said the situation is as a result of the shutdown of the main treatment plant, Abesim Headworks. 

He however said, the company has put in place contingency measures to mitigate the situation.
