The Editorial of the Daily Graphic of Today says hopes are high on the President's State of the Nation Address. 

The paper says, in the face of what a school of thought described as Herculean task, the President appears unfazed and recently remarked that the delivery of his first budget in March 2017 would re-set the economy on the right path. 

It therefore wishes the President well as he gets ready to justify the confidence Ghanaians reposed in him.

The Ghanaian Times also touches on the expectations of the President's first budget to be presented to Parliament today on the State Of The Nation Address. 

The paper says President Akufo-Addo has assured Ghanaians that the first budget of government will address well-thought policies to put the ailing Ghanaian economy back on track. 

During his campaign, he made promises to the citizenry and it is now time to fulfil those promises to Ghanaians. 

They expect the reduction of taxes, rolling out free SHS policy and providing social interventions for the people. 

The Ghanaian Times looks forward to a budget that will give hope to Ghanaians and believes that the country is capable of developing and becoming competitive again.
