Ghana: Free SHS education, any cost implications?

The Director of Research at the African Centre for Economic Transformation, Professor Joe Amoako Tuffuor has given a thumps up to the move by the government to implement the Free SHS policy in September this year. Dr Joe Amoako Tuffuor said discussions on the policy should not only focus on how much it will cost the nation to implement the Free SHS but Ghanaians should also take a look at the cost of not implementing it. He was addressing members of the Financial and Economic Journalists in Accra.
