Ghana Association of Writers launches awards scheme

The Ghana Association of Writers (GAW), has launched an awards scheme to recognise excellence among Ghanaian writers. 

Speaking at the launch, the President of GAW, Nana Kwasi Gyan-Apenteng, said the awards are not only meant to recognise excellence in the field of literature and the literary arts, but also  to set benchmarks for excellence.
