Government pledges effective, efficient Beneficial Ownership regime

Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia says, although Ghana has made positive strides with regards to Beneficial Ownership where there is disclosure of the real owners behind companies, more needs to be done to meet international standards. 

To this end, he has pledged government's commitment to provide the needed resources to enable Ghana to have an effective and efficient Beneficial Ownership regime.

Vice President, Dr Bawumia was speaking at a workshop on Beneficial Ownership in Accra.
