Majority In Parliament Decries Missing GHC7 billion The Majority Caucus in Parliament has described as pathetic the explanation offered by the Minority Group on the Seven Billion Ghana Cedis that the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia claimed cannot be accounted for. In a News conference this morning in Parliament the NPP side of the House said the Minority in their response to Dr. Bawumia’s revelation clearly admitted that the Seven Billion Cedis expenditure which has been kept out of the purview of the books of government constitutes real expenditures that have been undertaken. Addressing the News Conference to throw more lights on the 7 Billion Ghana Cedis Brouhaha, the Chairman of the Finance Committee and MP for New Juaben South Dr. Mark Assibey-Yeboah questioned the integrity of economic data that the NDC Government has churned out over the past eight years. He also spoke about the implication for the budget deficit and the unaccounted for money and described the Minority’s response to the Vice President Dr. Bawumia as pathetic. GBC
