AMA sets task forces to assess general damage following Tuesday's rainstorm

The AMA has set up four task forces to assess the extent of damage caused by yesterday's rainstorm. 

The assessment is expected to give the Assembly the needed information to address the damage caused.

AMA Consultant for Outdoor, John Yankah, says the city task force is scanning the city to remove billboards which are likely to pose danger to human lives and property.

Mr. Yankah said, the exercise was planned long ago but the rainstorm has propelled the unit to quickly clear the billboards which have been blown down or looking weak as a result of the storm yesterday.

Mr. Yankah also touched on Political Party bill boards which he said must also be cleared because the 2016 election is over.
