Rains Rip Off Part Of Parliament's Roof

Last night's rains wreaked havoc on Parliament as parts of the roof of the chamber block got ripped off in the middle of proceedings. 

The effect of the removed roofing soon after became visible when the rain started dripping into the chamber. 

The House was then considering the Local Governance Amendment bill 2017. 

The rains did not deter the majority from sitting through while the minority members started filing out as the rains started coming into the chamber of the house.

In an interview with the Majority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu says the condition of the roofing will not adversely affect parliaments work.

A Deputy Minority Leader, Ibrahim Ahmed tells Radio Ghana that the conduct of the majority to continue business to the risk of their lives.
