An Accra Magistrate Court has ordered the prosecution in the murder of JB Dankwa Adu to as a matter of urgency follow up on the docket sent to the AG for advice. The magistrate Ebenezer Kwaku Ansah said the docket has kept too long with the AG.and he is uncomfortable when accused persons are being detained depriving them from basic rights. The prosecutor Superintendent Francis Baah said that he believes that because of the AG's strike that has delayed the docket but the magistrate still insisted that the fact that they were on strike does not allow them to delay. The magistrate said between now and on the 10th of next month the prosecution should make sure that the docket is served before the adjourned date which is on the 15th of next month . Reacting to the complaints by the accused persons at the last adjourned date on the 17th of last month that they were not giving food the prosecutor said that has been rectified.
