Police take over Ga Mantse palace following chieftaincy clashes The PRO of the Accra Regional Police Command, ASP Afia Tengey, says the Police have taken over the Ga Mantse Palace after yesterday's violent clashes between two rival factions laying claim to the Ga stool. Speaking to Radio Ghana, ASP Tengey said two people were injured in the clash which resulted in the destruction of property worth thousands of cedis in the Palace. She said no arrest has been made so far but investigations are ongoing. The incident follows the installation of Nii Adama Latse, who was cleared by an Accra High Court last week to be the Ga Mantse.
