Afcon 2017: Morocco knock defending champions Ivory Coast out of tournament

Defending Champions Ivory Coast crashed out of the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon when they failed to make it out of the Group Stages.

The Elephants lost by a lone goal to Morocco.
 
Morocco has made it to the quarter finals for the first time since 2004.
 
In the other Group "C" Match, D.R. Congo humbled Togo by three goals to one.
 
D.R. Congo and Morocco thus qualify for the quarter finals from Group "C".
