White House defends Trump's voter fraud claim

The White House says US President Donald Trump, believes that millions of people voted illegally in the US election based on studies and evidence that have been presented to him.

Mr Trump has been explaining why he lost the popular vote to Democrat Hillary Clinton.
 
But any notion of widespread voter fraud has been widely rejected.

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer says President Trump continues to maintain that belief because of the evidence he continues to receive.
