Ghana, World Food Programme Strategise On Zero Tolerance For Hunger Former President John Agyekum Kufuor is leading Ghana on an agenda spearheaded by the World Food Programme to strategically review and re-design programmes towards zero tolerance to hunger and malnutrition in Africa. At a meeting with key stakeholders in Accra, Mr Kufuor said though eliminating hunger and poverty is a complex task, the issue of hunger must be separated from aid delivery and focused on livelihood empowerment of indigenous farmers in remote parts of the continent. This, former President Kufuor believes will lead Africa to zero hunger, food sufficiency and the target of SDG 2. GBC
