Two persons remanded for robbery 

An Accra Circuit Court has remanded two persons in Police custody.
 
Samuel Osei alias Wale and Kofi Sarpong alias ‘Rasta’ allegedly robbed one commercial bus driver, Anthony Kwaku Asare of his money and some personal items valued at two thousand seven hundred Ghana Cedis.
 
On the 11th of this month, at about 8pm, the complainant who is also the victim, Kwaku Asare sent his faulty vehicle to a fitting shop at Awudome for repairs.

He later decided to visit a lavatory at Kwame Nkrumah Circle. 

On his way, he was attacked by the accused persons who jumped from the cemetery to the roadside and subjected him to severe beating, robbed him of his phone and cash.

A report was later made to the Police at STC and the accused persons were subsequently arrested and detained for investigation.

The case has been adjourned to the 2nd of next month.
