Vetting of Minister-designate for National Security held 'in camera'

Next to appear before the appointment's Committee was Albert Kan Dapaah, Minister designate for National Security.

The Chairman of the Committee, Joseph Osei-Wusu, announced that due to the sensitive nature of  Mr. Kan Dapaah's  position his vetting will be done in Camera. 

Before the break for the in-camera session, Mr. Kan Dapaah was asked a few questions on some general issues. 

First was on post-election violence. 

He also defended his position on how he handled an issue with regard to the drug menace at the airport when he was Minister for the Interior during the Kufuor administration.
