Government renews curfew on Bimbilla 

The Ministry of Interior has renewed the curfew hours in Bimbilla from 10pm to 4am effective today January 20, 2017.
 
The Ministry made this decision on the advice of the Northern Regional Security Council and by Executive Instrument.
 
Government continues to urge chiefs and people of the area to excercise restraint in the face of the challenges confronting them and to use non-violent means to channel their energies into ensuring peace in the area.

There is a ban on all persons in Bimbilla from carrying ammunition and any offensive weapon.
 
Anyone who falls foul will be arrested and prosecuted.
