Need to implement safety measures on Tema motorway emphasized

The need for the implementation of a comprehensive safety measures on the Tema Motorway has again been emphasized. 

Motorists continue to risk their lives plying the route on daily basis. 

The fatal accidents, broken down trucks, potholes and the numerous unauthorized roads linking the motorway are undermining the purpose of the nation's number one expressway. 

In an interview on GBC’s ‘Ghana Today,’ the Convener of the Concerned Motorway Users Safety Forum, Perpetual Osei Bonsu said it is unfortunate that whenever there is an accident on the motorway motorists are not alerted right at the beginning of the motorway to use alternative routes but are allowed to drive into danger. 

Madam Osei Bonsu who spoke with Dominic Hlordzi called for a holistic approach at addressing safety issues on the motorway.
