GHANA'S MOBILE MONEY: THE FASTEST GROWING IN THE WORLD - REPORT

A report issued by the World Bank indicates that Ghana is the most digital financial services- ready country in Africa. 

Ghana outranked Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania.     

The Head of Payment Systems Department at the Bank of Ghana Dr. Sethor Amedeku added that now treasury bills can be purchased via mobile money platforms as well as paying interest on mobile money accounts.

This puts Ghana miles ahead of its peers in the mobile money transfer services in Africa.
