KNUST Enters Agreement With Sunyani Mango Producers For Processing Plant The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Sunyani Greenfields Cooperative and Mango Producers to establish a fruit processing factory at Mantukwa in the Sunyani West district of the Brong Ahafo region. The project which has just begun, will process variety of fruits which will be operational throughout the year as materials become available one after each other season. These include mangoes, citrus and water melon which will be processed into fruit juice. The Vice Chancellor of KNUST, Professor Kwasi Obiri-Danso, made this known in Kumasi during an interaction with selected journalists. Professor Obiri-Danso noted that, the factory which will become operational from May this year, feeds into the One-District, One-Factory policy of the new government. GBC
